Fedora Ambassador Meeting Monday, Nov 16, 2009, 11:09 PM
Just got back from a productive meeting of minds with Red Hat's Mel Chua and fellow Fedora Ambassadors Herson Pagcaliwagan and Engels Antonio. We capped the night with coffee and tea after a Pinoy dinner treat at a resto in UP-Ayala Techno Hub.

APNG Logo Concepts Sunday, Nov 8, 2009, 3:00 PM
During our online meeting at APNG, I learned that more entries for the logo competition are needed. Here's a rough concept on graphing paper.
The height can be adjusted to give the letter G two blocks per side instead of the top side (recessed) currently having only one. However, this might make N and G look bigger than A and P.
I added some shading with random colors below, just to emphasize the 3D concept. These can be replaced with the appropriate APNG colors. Additional graphics, like a map of Asia-Pacific, can be placed on the large space of the P and G z-axis.

Corazon Cojuangco Aquino (1933-2009) Saturday, Aug 1, 2009, 3:18 AM
The Philippines' mother of democracy will forever be remembered even after all the yellow ribbons have gone. Cory is known as the first female president in South East Asia, the queen that we never had, Time Magazine's first female man of the year and the most prayed-for Filipino during her fight with colon cancer. I hope that the upcoming 2010 election candidates will somehow emulate or even just dip in President Aquino's humility and prowess through serving the nation first before himself; pleasing God first before others. |
