Bad PC Express! :(
Friday, Dec 29, 2006, 3:59 PMI know that I must be posting something for the holiday season but work got in the way. We're all agog at Bluepoint preparing for the upcoming Postfix class on January 2. Since the new hardware we're just delivered, we spent 48 hours in the office to make sure things will work out well on our first day next year.
It seems that all's going smoothly when one of the boxed processors that we purchased from PC Express (at Shaw Blvd) was found to be defective. One of its pins in the middle is cut. So we returned the defective processor (which was the only one unopened when we received it) to them and it turns out that their technical assessed that it was physical damage due to excessive force during the installation. He said that some pins were dented and that it was our fault. After we got back the said processor, the three of us in the office saw no dent even under a magnifying lens but a broken pin -- their technical did not see that. We were told to file a report that they'll submit to their supplier but cannot assure us that there will be a replacement and we can receive a word from them sometime after our Postfix training. This will not do. We were very unsatisfied with the way they dealt with us. We even had to call the mobile phone of our salesman's boss (63917-8070036) since he's on field and had no load. Unluckily, this boss who is Bong Corpuz by name canceled and ignored our final calls to him. Our salesman, Ferdinand Acosta was really a salesman and needs more customer service training. He kept on putting us on hold for more than 3 minutes several times.
To make this long story short, we've decided that we'll just learn from this experience and never transact with PC Express again. This is very sad since Bluepoint Institute was a regular customer until now.
